😉 I’m gonna do my best to remember…and the class content is always flexible depending on who shows, so we can ramp up or down or change it all together to fit the needs of our athletes
Oh! If anyone is interested, up team (one of them) will be competing this Saturday in Kennesaw at 1:00. Going to be a good one! Also! Sunday, we are at CFATl @ 10:00 for a “beat the team” WOD. Equally as fun and all are invited!!!
Just did a hotel Annie with doubles and a combo of sits, pushes and squats. First time working out with a mirror. I look like a giant spider! Now to the beach!
I’ve been dealing with a few bummer injuries lately (shoulder and on-going hamstring/sciatica). My latest issue is Achilles tendonitis which has me limping around. Reading this post today really helped me. Don’t ever stop coming in to the gym when you’re aching/injured/etc. We can always sub/modify/scale the WOD for you! http://crossfitlisbeth.com/2012/06/26/fighting-your-way-back/
Thanks for posting this today!! I needed it as well. This calf injury is driving me nuts and modifying galore has gotten old. Caught a stomach virus this weekend but will be back with plenty of MODS tomorrow.
Today was a hard workout for me. Early on I switched from 8# to 6# so I could get wall ball to target; I used 65# for power cleans; and burpee pull ups were very difficult. I’m not quite 5′ tall so grabbing the bar at all was tricky– I slipped and nearly fell backwards once–prompting me to pull over a small black box and do jumping pull ups from that. Finished in 28:58. Nutrition *is* the base of the pyramid, folks. Today was some good motivation for me.
It doesn’t happen often, but it’s good to know that our gym is a safe place to cry! 🙂 Thanks to Michael and my 4 pm gym peeps for being so encouraging and supportive. Love you guys! Great to see Scott visiting today from Puerto Rico, too!
Thanks!! So happy to get to work out with you all again.
Your new gym is nothing short of amazing. I had goose bumps when I walked in.
Michael. I will totally take you up on your offer to help set up my gym when it is ready – not saying the name until HQ approves the affiliation application (any day now)!
Thanks Michael for posting the skills class!

Skills class is great…I feel ready to make some real progress after Michael’s expert instruction!
This one is gonna be tough!!

19:42 or 46 or 45 or 41 or 48 RX.
I had fun at 7am and after dreading this workout, I feel great afterwards.
16:09 with 75# power cleans, 20# WB
21:46 rx
Turns out, I still dislike wall balls.

Really proud of you for doing a hotel wod, T! Wish I were at the beach…
This one looks fun, but my hands are toast from Friday and Sunday. Either a rest day or home WOD for me!
23:50 @ 115#
Burpees and powercleans in one metcon spells trouble.
20:05 with 55# power cleans and 10# wall ball. This was rough!
