12 Pull Ups

  1. I liked this one, much harder than I thought it was going to be! 19:43RX it was the pull ups, it was the dips, it was the DU’s that slowed me down-phew! But fun regardless! And I PRed on my snatch;) good job 830

  3. Not a good gym day today. Felt so tired and weak and slow.

    Couldn’t get the 60# overhead that I snatched June 10. Felt miserable during the metcon. Banded pull ups, highly modified box dips, singles because my doubles wouldn’t go.

    Bailed out after 3 rounds, which took about 20 minutes.

    In happier news, I got a super cute new CFRX T-shirt and Ruthie comes home tonight! Yay!

    1. Yah sister! But you did it and you didn’t quit. Who cares if you place last in the class every now and then? The spirit of our gym is that you give it your best and you never quit because a DNF is way worse than a slow time. Great job today, Jessica!

    2. something about get in or something to that ecefft before the massive promo’s,but where woould they get the capitol to do so? They just secured some funding I see [??500.000.00] ,but they said they already had plans for that money,I know when a co. has something good going on there always seems to be the working capitol problems which usually lead to delution ,also it could be a great idea or concept ,but if the management isn’t on course ,well .it could go nowhere to. I just have a good feeling about what they are trying to achieve here and got in @ a buck with 5,000 shr.s to start. Seems like every poster on the avvc board must have lost alot of money on mailers in the past,they are mostly cry babies there,waaaa!! lol Oh well,Im in for now and will play it as it comes,I think they will make some profits and the sharer holders to.lol Jim

  5. I was slow today, but at least I showed up! 🙂
    I think my time was 34:47. Pull ups: red band for first 2 rounds & black for last 2; black band for dips; double unders sad but I did get 4 in a row a number of times; all runs remarkably unassisted.

  6. Went to the skills training class at 6pm with Michael. He’s an exceptional instructor and identified small (and not so small!) errors that made a big impact on my form. I feel like it was really worth attending…fun too!

  7. This was a great and fun workout. My biggest achievement: got 10 double unders in a row, on 3 different points throughout the workout. I think I’m really close to getting these!
