50 Box jumps, 24″
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 35#
50 Walking Lunge steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push presses, 45#
50 Good mornings, 45#
50 Wall ball shots (20#/14#)
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

NOTE: “House Rules” May sub Back Extensions for Good Mornings, but any other variation of weight or movement will be considered scaling (e.g., not RX).

  2. As some of you know last night I had a crying break down because I used poor form and hurt my back on the deadlifts.

    This morning I fought with myself about taking the day off and using my back as the excuse or just getting up and doing the WOD!

    I came and I did it and I am so glad I did;) plus I got to workout with my awesome sister-n-law !!

      You would have never known you hurt your back by the way you flew through the workout! Great job!

  4. 43:30 Rx. First time doing it, and lots of room for improvement. Although i’m not asking to do it again any time soon …

  5. 27… something was my time. I really wanted to do this one RX but I’m still letting those shoulders heal. So I did russian swings & knee-ups/v-ups for the knees to elbows. But I did do wall-balls and push-press without discomfort! Progress!

  6. First sub – 30 minute Filthy Fifty for me. 3:00 minute PR. Best box jumping for me ever. Plus felt good after.

  7. Dirty Thirty with lots of scaling. Quite refreshing! 25:30 or so.

    The last time I did all Fifty was in 2011, two days before my fiftieth birthday. I did not enjoy it. There was crying.

    This was so much better. Yay for scaling!!!

    after jumping on the 19″ box a few times i got skittish and switched to step ups. 25# kb; 35# pp & gm; 8# wb below target; on DUs I counted some attempts.
    I had gotten through 15 DUs at 32 min but then had trouble & felt like i could never finish them. Coach Michaelsaurus wouldn’t let me quit. He’s the best.

  9. Decided to do the dirty 30 after being sick all week. Thanks Michael for making me hand my ego over 🙂 I’m glad I scaled it down or I would really be hurting right now.


  10. Have been depressed lately that the rest of the Power Hour have been killing me. I know, I know – I’m only competing with myself blah, blah, blah. Life is a competition, and I don’t like losing.

    However… I did feel better today shaving 9 minutes off my PR (10 months ago BTW). 38:02 (and >1200 calories)

  11. I finished it – all 50 under 40 and I think I’m still tired. It would be OK with me if this one didn’t come up again for awhile.

  12. 38:24 I bitched a lot throughout this one but I’m definitely glad I did it and once more I finished something that just seemed impossible. LOVE!!!
