Memorial Day Murph and Reopen Phase 1.2

First and foremost, Michael and I want to thank everyone for their continued support and patience. We have noted everyone’s feedback. Conditions are changing and improving. As always, we are looking after our staff and members, putting everyone’s safety above anything else.

Painting should be complete by this weekend. Next week, a cleaning crew will clean and disinfect the perimeter of the gym, clean and disinfect the equipment before they are returned to their spots, a second cleaning crew will clean and disinfect the center of the gym ready to open on Monday, May 25, 2020.

MEMORIAL DAY MURPH 2020

We will have 4 classes/heats on Monday, May 25 to do Murph. If you’re under the weather or have come in contact with anyone not feeling well, please do not attend.

Details:

• 8am, 9am, 10am, and 11am
• You must register for class on Wodify to attend, strictly enforced
• 16 Slots per class; 10 for Pull Up Bars and 6 for Ring Rows (it will be set up on Wodify for you to choose)
• Registration will open 72 hours before the event
• There will be a waiting list. If you register and change your mind, please unregister.
• We will have a hand sanitizing station before you enter the gym
• Please practice social distancing, minimum of 6′ apart at all times
• No children or pets
• Bathrooms will not be available
• Water fountain will not be available. Bring your own water or you can buy bottled water there.
• Coaches will give details outside, assign you your area and take off on the run. As you return, you will go to your designated area to do your pull ups/ring rows, push ups, and squats.
• We encourage everyone to scale to avoid Rhabdomyolysis (see scaling options below)

There may be other options, we will talk about that on the day of the event.

If you’re partition, you will be asked to stay at your bar/rings. Otherwise, once you finish your pull ups/ring rows, go to you designated number.

REOPENING PHASE 1.2 MAY 26, 2020

Tentative Schedule:

Monday through Friday
6am, 7am, Noon, 4:30, 5:30 and 630

Saturday and Sunday
9am and 10am

Details:

• Must register for class on Wodify, registration will open the night before, strictly enforced.
• A waitlist may be added
• Hand sanitized before entering
• Classes will be capped at 9 persons
• Coach will assign you a station on the floor and the rig
• Class time: 45min, 15min will be spent on resetting and cleaning equipment
• Open Gym – A workout will be programmed, limited equipment will be placed at your assigned area, a rower, with your own spray bottle and clean cloth. Kettle bell and dumbbells will need to be retrieved, if needed. You may choose to deviate from the planned program. At 45min mark everyone will be asked to thoroughly clean their equipment and stations. Assault Bikes may not be available.
• No children or pets
• Bathrooms will not be available
• Water fountain will not be available. Bring your own water or you can buy bottled water there.
• Coaches will supervise for safety and enforce social distancing
