I did a 3 minute AMRAP of burpees instead of the wallballs. Turns out I can’t really do burpees within 5 minutes of completing 75 155# deadlifts. I only got 23 in 3 minutes. That’s bad even for me. 🙂 Reply Wrong! My time was 13:34. I’m trying to cheat myself out of 6 seconds. 13.34, RX. Reply 13:46 RX. Just couldn’t keep up with Pat’s lightning fast deadlifts. 🙂 2 min of WBs @ 14# – 46. My heart wasn’t in this one…rested too much. Overall great way to start Friday morning! Reply Got to wod with CStreet today! Used 125 lbs because heavier was bothering my rib (ugh!) 11:06 Skipped the wallballs….yes, I know that’s wrong. Reply Ha!! I intended to skip the wall balls, but Kelly caught me going out the door and made me do them. (Note to self: When sneaking out, don’t say goodbye to your coach. I’m too polite for my own good.) Reply Ha! Everyone wanted to skip the wall balls! I nearly did but conscience wouldn’t let me. Reply 11:22 with 90# and no back pain! LOVED this one! And then … 25 sad little wall balls with an 8# ball, a bounce between most reps, and much internal whining. p.s. Have I mentioned how much I love sit ups? Reply So I am actually still a few weeks away from my 1st Crossfit anniversary, but I hit a couple of major milestones this week: 1. first 5 WOD week 2. 4 consecutive Rx WOD’s!!! Times/rounds/reps were not impressive, but, before this week, I could have counted my Rx WOD’s on 3 fingers. Thanks for all your encouragement! Reply Outstanding! Reply I busted my BUTT on this one. My favorite movement-DEADLIFTS! Sit-ups not so much but I didn’t want my DLs to be for nothing so I pushed on the sit-ups: 13:14 Rx I gave all my energy on the MetCon that I pooped on the Wallballs: 20 Reply 18:20 with 105 DLs And 26 rather lackluster wallballs. Reply I thought I might be able to RX this. Ha. No way at that many reps. After first slow 5 reps, I dropped to 135# DLs which was plenty heavy for me. Tried to keep good form. 19:05.
