Here are the various running routes around CrossFit Rx (click on any of the photos to enlarge the image):
400m (for most WODs)
This is the route used for workouts that combine inside work with a 400m run, like “Helen.” The run begins from inside at the second platform; from there, it’s down to the Marta station driveway and back.

400m (sprint route; 200m down and back)
This 400m route is for when the workout calls for 400m sprints; it saves the trouble of having to come in and out of the building. You start at the sewer grate, go down past the Marta driveway to the fire hydrant just past the pedestrian bridge, then return to start.

800m (for most WODs)
This is the route used for workouts that combine inside work with an 800m run, like “Michael.” The run begins from inside at the second platform; from there, it’s down to the corner of Oakdale and Dekalb Avenue and back.

800m (sprint route; 400m down and back)
This 800m route is for when the workout calls for 800m sprints; it saves the trouble of having to come in and out of the building. You start at the sewer grate, go down to Oakdale, around the corner and past all the Marta driveways. Turn around, and return to start.

1 mile run
For the odd times where we run this distance, such as during “Murph.” This course starts at the front door; down to Mell –> McLendon –> Oakdale –> Dekalb Ave. in a big loop. To finish, run past the gym down to the corner of Mell and Dekalb Ave., then backtrack and return to the gym.

3k
This course starts at the front door, and covers the same route as the 1 mile run; down to Mell –> McLendon –> Oakdale –> Dekalb Ave. in a big loop. Repeat the loop one more time (a total of 2 complete loops). To finish, run past the gym down to the corner of Mell and Dekalb Ave., where the course ends.

5k
This course starts at the front door, and covers the same route as the 1 mile run and 3k; down to Mell –> McLendon –> Oakdale –> Dekalb Ave. in a big loop. Repeat the loop two more times (a total of 3 complete loops). To finish, run past the gym down to Mell, then all the way down to McLendon. Turn around, run back towards Dekalb Ave. and return to the front door, where the course ends.

10k
Begin at the corner of Mell and Dekalb Ave. Go down Mell to begin the normal long-distance loop. Complete just shy of 7 revolutions of the loop; the course ends at the CrossFit Rx banner at the front of our building.
15k
Exactly the same as the 10k, but now we add a few more times around. Complete 10 revolutions; to finish, go down Mell to Iverson, then turn around and return to the front door, where the course ends.
