  1. REG!!!

  2. 132 – 132 – 137 – 142 – 147F – 132 – 132

  3. 120-132-142-154-154-142-142
    Can’t find any evidence of having done split jerk singles before so I’ll call 154 a PR. Need to work on an explosive jump and catching at full lockout.

  4. 88 – 98 – 108 – 115 – 120 – 125f – 125 pr

    • nice numbers jax.

    • PR!! Good job!

  5. decided to go for a run on this beautiful morning. Ran 40:08

    • Came in at noon to do split jerks. Kelly was awesome at coaching and encouraging me to go for more weight.

      120/125/130/137/142/147/152 PR

      That is a PR by 12#! My previous PR was 140# at Regionals. I felt strong until the last lift. It was wobbly and probably wouldn’t have counted in competition because I didn’t hold it for a full 2 seconds, but I am counting it!

      • Yup!!

      • 152! That’s me!! I weigh 152. Next time we’re at the gym, see if you can lift me. I’ll be perfectly still. And I’ll only giggle a tiny bit. :D

  6. 66-76-88-93-98-103F-103F-103.

    I don’t have any evidence of having done these either so I’ll take 103 as a PR. It wasn’t pretty, but thanks to Damon for making me try one more time.

    • Well, I think requiring a successful lift before you were ‘allowed’ to leave was an effective coaching tool…It worked at 730am too ;-)

  7. Fellow RXers…

    Join me tomorrow night at The Graveyard in East Atlanta for a birthday happy hour if you would like. I have no shame and don’t mind throwing myself a party :-) I thought it might be a good excuse for some of us to get together someplace other than the gym. We’ll be there around 6:30 and am guessing we’ll be there for quite a while.

    • Fun!! Ruth and I will see you there! :)

      • Hope to be there, Erica. Happy birthday!

  8. 81×3
    93×3
    103×3
    115×3
    125×1
    132×1
    142×1 PR
    152×0

  9. First time putting 200# overhead in months…felt good!
    PR 269#

    176-198-220-242-264f-252

    Never thought I’d see the day where I’d be chasing Zeke on a lift, but here I am. Gr8 job on the 12# PR this AM (22# in 4 weeks). Getting strong little fella!

    • nice!

    • 252 = me AND a 100-pound person. Like Joy. So you should be able to lift me AND Joy.

      • A T-Mac and a Joy? I might have to try that! I’ve done a pull up with a Laura on my back before, so it should be fun :-)

    • I like that. You chasing me on the lifts.

      I did split jerks this morning after:

      hang power snatches for max reps:
      @110= 12
      @120= 7
      @132= 4

      I know I have more in me at 132 but I can’t keep my grip.

      Then I did snatch grip deadlifts @ 205. Really focused on my chest and butt. NOT the deadlift position but the snatch. Did 3 sets of 3

      then I did my split jerks:
      154-176-198-220-242f-242f-242-247

      my third 242 was a 7 pound PR over last week!! In fact I know I have 250. I never would have imagined I had those numbers in me. Watch out Damon!!!

      • Correction: my last split jerk at 247 was a failed attempt :-(

  10. Split jerks: 55-65-77-82-87f

    I tend to skip lift days, and the coaching today was much appreciated. Wish I had gotten the last one but am okay with getting 82 lbs overhead. I don’t really love lifting things over my head.
