  1. Fun day at the gym today! Great to see everyone!

Did the Growlery team WOD, scaled, with Pat: 800m run followed by 35# KB swings and, for me, 15# DB squat cleans, then a 400m run. 20-minute cutoff, with penalty for going over. We finished in 19 minutes and did a few extra reps at the end.

    I did 78 reps; Pat 106, for a team total of 184. :)

My 800 was 5 minutes, which for me is GOOD!!! Thanks Kelly for great coaching.

    • you left your phone….i left it in the planter in that little cubby outside our gym….call me(somehow) if you cant find it….404-313-1952

      • and your 800 was 4:58

        • Even better! I’ll stop by for my phone. Can’t imagine why I took it out of my bag …

    • I see Kelly already corrected you on the run time. You finished in 4:58 and since every second counts, I wanted to make sure you took credit for it.

      Fun partnering with Terri!

Just to add my take on what Terri has already reported…On the 800, I was a few seconds behind Terri, so just over 5 minutes which isn’t too bad for me. I sprinted a little at the end trying to catch up with Terri, so that was good. On the 400 at the end, it took us 4 minutes, but we were dead at that point since we had been swinging kettle bells and doing DB squat cleans for 10 minutes straight. We left at 15minutes to do our 400…not because we thought we needed 5 minutes but because we were DONE. As Terri said, we did manage a gew more reps when we got back to the gym for a total of 184.

  2. Awww – finally some weights. Me liked this one. All jerks were in broken, sdhp were unbroken for 21,6 and 3, the rest split into two.
    Rx – 9:56

  3. Fun day!
Teamed up with Sheryl and Trish for the team wod.
We ran a mile (not sure of the time, probably 9-ish), then switched off doing 25 lb dumbell squat cleans and 35 lb KB swings, finished with an 800 m run. We didn’t plan exactly right…we finished in 20:33 so we had to subtract 33 reps for a total or 180.
It was a lot of fun, thanks teammates!

    • Was great trying to keep up with speedsters Trish and TPoole on the runs. Funny thing…I started getting to know Therese a couple years ago when we teamed up for a WOD along with one other person. And, like today, the WOD involved runnning while stopping on the way to do various other things; like today I was with two speedsters … deja vu!

  4. Rehabbing it. Did deadlifts 5 x 5:
    120-125-132-137-142
Now my right shoulder’s a little sore but it could be from baby carrying. :)

    • And speaking of babies, today is Kristy’s due date– can’t wait to get the good news!

      • Yay Kristy!

  5. 8:34

I liked this one too. very little rest. light weight was able to move fast.

    • Great job!!

  6. Oh, and great picture…good plug for GSU, thanks Meredith!!

  7. First MetCon with weights in a little while. Wish I could say I enjoyed it more.

    As Rx 11:38

  8. Forgot to write down my time when I did this. Finally remembered to look it up today.
    Rx: 13:21
