Great suggestion, Laura. It’s just what I needed coming back from vacation.
looking forward to having you back this week!
Did 1000m Row instead…
3:43, 3:51, 3:57, 4:05, 4:06. 4:50
Stroke is improving so decided to put in some extra work.
I did this on the oval in Piedmont Park – beautiful morning for a run!
3:32, 3:21, 3:30, 3:18
I was tempted to come do these runs, but had promised myself I’d do a 10-mile run in advance of next weekend’s Zooma half-marathon. Jogged nearly 10-1/2 miles in 2 hrs 18 min. At least it was beautiful out.
Wow that’s a long way to run. Wow.
4:33, 4:29, 4:44, 4:50
May 9 was 4:34, 4:29, 4:25, 4:23
I was hoping I could run faster this time because I’ve been doing mostly 400s for warmups. Doesn’t seem to have helped. I’m always scared to push myself when running. Not sure why exactly. I should just do it once and if I collapse or puke or spontaneously combust, then at least I’ll know.
I really wasn’t in the mood to do this. I chose to enjoy this beautiful day with a little longer run at a leisurely pace. I did 5.5 miles in 45:36. It felt really good.

Did this wod at the oval at Piedmont Park too. Must have just missed Trish! After the first run, I started feeling a sharp pain in my right leg when I bent it. Same kind of knee pain as I did after the heavy double under workout several weeks ago. It still hurts to put much weight on it. Not sure what’s going on but I hope it goes away quickly.
still rowing….
1000m intervals:
4:07, 4:30, 4:29, 4:26
I tried my “Map My Run” app on my phone – needless to say it didn’t work very well. So, I ended up running as fast as I could for 4 minutes (it was probably 800 meters give or take).
11/2/09
I tried so hard to get under 3 minutes but couldn’t do it.
3:38, 3:18, 3:06, 3:05 (10 mph) on treadmill.
Next time I’ll get it.
completed on 11/2

Tied my PR of 3:06:

Did this on 11/2. I’m incredibly slow, but much better after I realized I could have a decent break in between!
