I live in such a great neighborhood for running, and I’d like to run the 5k here. I’ll let you know how that goes.
Had a gym dream last night: Laura got on a loudspeaker and announced that we all needed to pack clothes, snacks, and books for a brutal CrossFit challenge survival trip, but she wouldn’t give us any more info. We were to leave at any moment and had no idea how long we’d be gone. It was hot, and all I had were corduroys. I thought, well now this is just too much.
Turns out my neighborhood is lousy with hills, so I ran on the Emory track. I expected to find a groove and improve my time. I didn’t. 39 minutes. F-word.
Appreciate the poetic shout out to the moon and love reading Terri’s dream. Who knew a gym’s blog could be so rich?
I ran Candler Park Fall Fest 5K this morning and made a new PR- 32:18. Bested yesterday’s pr by 20 sec. It does make a difference to be able to run a smoother course than when we’re on bad sidewalks in the dark and watching out for cars.
nice photo. the moon looks unscathed in spite of us.
The moon is much bigger than we are. Thank heavens.

Funny. Laura would tell us to bring books…

Ran in NOLA… 30 mins flat… hangover and humidity are not a good combo for running.
