Old PR’s:
Added weight – 62 pounds (+BW of 147 = 209) Total weight over bar – 210 (BW 155 + additional 55 = 210)
To PR for total weight over bar I would need to add greater than 50 pounds of added weight to my current bodyweight of 160.
WOD history [BW + added weight (total weight)]:
4/22/08 – 155+55 (210) 8/31/08 – 150+55 (205) 10/6/08 – 147+62 (209)
Today:
BW of 160 (w/ clothes = 162.5)
40-50-60-65-70-75-78.5
162.5+78.5 (241)
added weight PR of 16.5 pounds total over-the-bar PR of 31 pounds
Wow, that’s a big improvement!
Damn, this will be interesting!!!!
(144#) + 60,70,80,90f,85,90,95f
Pretty fun
Who knew that working out on Sundays could be fun…we had a good group this morning going for it.
BW – 188
45, 55, 65, 77, 92, 102, 112, 117
188+117=305
I don’t weigh myself very often so I was surprised by my weight…will weigh myself again before drawing any conclusions.
your performance has changed a lot in the past six months…I would be surprised if your body had not changed as well…
Good point coach. Ian and I were talking about the unique & wide-ranging impact of CF so I’m sure that I’ve overlooked some of the changes.
way to go La Mar – man I thought I had an advantage on you today
You did well…everyone is raising their performance so it’s motivational.
Alt WOD of 100 assisted pullups for time 14:10 – blue/tiny bands & mostly breaking every 3 or 4 reps
damn, that is a good time Joy!
Joy’s a CrossFit demon.
Needed a happy day at the gym, so I did deadlifts.
121, 143, 153, 165, 175pr, 180f, 180f
PR’s are definitely happy days!
Thanks for suggesting it, Laura. It was good for my head.
Nice, Terri. Glad you had a good day at the gym.
Thanks Pat!
I should have stayed to cheer you on – I must be your good luck
100 pull ups for time: 14:30 I think. Hands ripped at 96. Not bad.
You mean *unassisted* pull ups, don’t you?! I didn’t see any bands anywhere near you.
Yes:)
100 Pullups for time: 16:20, blue+tiny
It was interesting doing pull ups for max strength reps. I tried hangin with all the big boys today who were doing crazy pull ups with over 90 additional pounds!
I am really not sure what my body weight is…somewhere around 109-115 I would guess.
15, 20, 25, 30, 32.5, 35f, 35 110+35=145
Did more weight than I thought I could — should have started off heavier.
20 – 25 – 30 – 40 – 50 – 60 – 70F 151 + 60 = 211
140 lb, weighted vest, 20, 30, 40, 50, 55, 60, 62.5f, 200lb total.
100 pull ups, tiny band about 23 minutes. completed on 8/31
