  4. Wow, La Mar, that’s an amazing time!

    I did the alternate version of “Ryan”, subbing 21 pullups and 21 dips for the 7 MU’s. Time: 54:16. How could it possibly take that long? I must have lasped into a nap or a coma somewhere in the middle. It’s those darn burpees, my nemesis! Well, one of them.

    Really slowed down on the 4th round, but luckily Laura and Damon didn’t kick me out and I was able to finish!

    • How does a man run 9.71 and lose?? That is crazy, 9.58 is disgusting!!!

  9. Holy crap. I did the alternate 21 pull-ups, 21 dips w/ band, and 21 burpees.

    I did 35:38, but I only did 10 pull-ups and dips in the last two rounds to try to have some kind of form.

    I was trying to decide which sucked harder–the dips or the burpees. I think the dips win, because with each one I thought I was going to take a header out of the band into the kettlebell.

  10. After traveling (& eating too much junk w/family), I improvised at home thusly:

    5 rounds
    7 x (4 bent over row w/6.6lb dumb bells & 4 chair dips)
    21 burpees

  11. Subbed 21 pullups + 21 ring dips for the 7 muscle-ups. Last 3 rounds I could only do the ring dips one at a time, which really slowed me down. Learning to push through the burpees though.
