  1. Front squat singles have not come up in years. The most recent front squats we have done were 3′s on May 4, 2009.

    • Why do you think that is?

      • Dunno. Maybe they forget about ‘em. Maybe they’re more functional at a lighter weight and higher reps; those come up more often. Maybe they’re too similar to thrusters and squat cleans; perhaps they’re less beneficial, so thrusters and squat cleans get priority.

    • Ha! If you’ve done a thruster or a squat clean, you’ve done a front squat! ;)

    I had trouble going low enough without going too low- it was an experiment!

    Note to self on pull-ups: don’t use the highest pull-up bars – your feet can’t reach the bands! (And you might fall off the box trying…)

    Finished two pounds under PR.
