HQ Rest Day
I figured I’d take some shots of the CFRX garden since I needed a photo for the HQ Rest Day. Got some bees (left), some butterflies (top right)…and then I noticed that the butterfly I just took a picture of was struggling. Oh my! Apparently, we have praying mantises, too (bottom right)! Poor butterfly; he needed more GPP!



Rad, I don’t know what kind, but I do think the little yellow guy is (was) a butterfly and not a moth.
A butterfly:
is diurnal (instead of nocturnal)
wings rest together and upright (instead of at their sides)
has straight, clubbed antennae (instead of feathered)
Wow. Smacked down about a bug on the CFRx site….

CFRX really is well-rounded. Entomology lessons = value added.

i am happy to have made it in today but my times were considerably slower than the last time this came up. will aim for the 3:20s next time this comes up.
my calf is really bothering me…am wondering what your thoughts are on my rowing instead of running…
1000m intervals on the rower. You should fall on the floor with exhaustion after each round or you’re not working hard enough.
i’ll take that challenge…see you this afternoon…im bringing my ipod too…and i’ll need to fashion something to protect the rip on the rip
Love the garden pics. Just yesterday I took time to appreciate the CFRX garden…while I rested between runs. It’s a nice little spot.
