  1. Rx is 70lbs for gents, 55lbs for the ladies

    2 MU = 6 pull-ups + 6 dips

  2. Hey everyone – Check out Laura’s interview on the Crossfit games site – here is the link. She is gonna rock

    http://games2009.crossfit.com/competitors/dirty-south-womens-interviews.html

    • She’s a CrossFit goddess. Truly.

      • You can do it Laura!!! Great story!

    • what a cool interview! Thanks for posting. I actually learned some new things about our coach. What an accomplishment just to be able to go to the games!

    • that was a great video. thanks for posting bryan. go laura go!

i subbed so many exercises today that i couldn’t keep track of what i was supposed to do next. thanks for your help mac!

6 pullups, 6 ring dips (both with tiny band)
4 pike knee pike pushups, 10 second handstand hold
      8 44lb KB swing

      9 rounds, 6 pullups, 3 ring dips

  3. Chasing jelly?

    • yes, how does one chase jelly?

      • If it were I, I would chase her from a really, really, really, really, really far distance. Not chase, exactly. Follow. Or at least travel a similar path and maybe end up at the same place at a later time.

    • Jelly = Jenni Orr…finished 1st at the qualifiers in April. There are so many great competitors going out there this weekend…I’m so proud that we can call our coach one of them :-) !!

      • ohhh – I like the picture in my head of coach trying to run down a jar grape jelly better though.

        • Funny ;-)

  4. Great interview…

And, I’m surprised there aren’t tears in my picture above. I sure felt like that’s what I wanted to do!

    • No worries if there are tears. I cried out of pure frustration.

  5. First full speed workout back. Decided to sub Michael for Nate today.
18:14 using Abmat, anchored. PR by 22 seconds.

  6. Scaled Nate with pike push ups, 35# kb, and blue bands: 9 rounds

  7. You’re amazing Laura. Don’t forget it!

  8. Wish I could do HSPU…next on the list for sure. Didn’t get too many rounds which I blame on the sheer exhaustion of muscle ups. ;-) Did hand stand holds for 25 sec. to sub the HSPU. Used 44lb kettle bell.
    3 rounds + 2 muscle ups + 1 hand stand hold.

  9. Thanks everybody that came this evening and putting up with me as I figured it all out!

    Amazing bunch of athletes here!

    Scott

    • You did a great job, Scott! Thanks for helping us out while Laura and Damon are away.

  10. managed to muster up 12 rounds with minor stopwatch complications. Hope you kill it in Cali Laura!!

    • Kelly – I figured out that the stopwatch was correct… just had to hit the ‘mode’ button to see the right time. You earned your 12 rounds in 20 minutes!

      • Good! I feel a bit better about that then

  11. Substituted 6 pullups + 6 dips for muscle ups.
    Substituted pike pushups for HSPUs.
    55 lb kettlebell.

    12 rounds + 6 pullups + 1 dip
