3 Weighted Pull-ups, 45 pounds
5 Strict Pull-ups
7 Kipping Pull-up
For weighted pull-ups place a 45 pound dumbbell between the legs above crossed ankles and jettison the dumbbell after third rep and continue with strict pull-ups and then the kipping pull-ups. Coming off the bar or going to ground constitutes termination of a set.
Post time and number of sets to completion.

Terri, bless her heart, sometimes fails to distinguish between the effects of an indiscriminate viral infection and the universe conspiring to produce nasty cold symptoms. Hence the bargaining.

Bargaining, per Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, is the stage (of grief) where you say to a higher power something like, “If you’ll just take this cold away, I promise never to eat pizza again.”

Modified this WOD a bit and did 3 strict pull ups, 5 chest to bar, and 7 kipping. I somehow thought it was AMRAP for 20 min and when Damon yelled “time” I was ready to quit….only to discover that I had to get to 10 rounds and still had 3 rounds left.
Surprisingly I got through all strict pull ups with no band. My hands are shredded though…just when I thought I was done ripping…

Absent blogger here. I tweaked a muscle last week at some point (during hang power snatches I think). I then misdiagnosed the injury for typical crossfit soreness and made it worse by completing Friday’s WOD. In any case, I think I’ll skip this cycle (except for running) and hope to be back later in the week.
