HQ Rest Day
For those of you who are interested in expanding your knowledge and/or skills, there are some CrossFit certifications that are going to be held at CrossFit Atlanta in early 2009. I highly recommend attending one if you want a motivational kick-in-the-pants! Should you want to attend, sign up as soon as possible – these certifications sell out FAST!
CrossFit Nutrition Cert w/ Robb Wolf, January 17, 2009
CF Running & Endurance Cert w/ Brian Mackenzie &
Carl Borg, April 25-26, 2009
CF Basic Barbell Cert w/ Mark Rippetoe & Ron Kilgore,
May 30-31, 2009
There is also an Oly lifting certification being held a few hours away in Evans, GA:
CrossFit Olympic Lifting Cert@CrossFit Augusta,
February 21-22, 2009
Good times at the CrossFit Atlanta Halloween party Saturday night! Their new space is HUGE – and thank goodness for that, because they’ve grown so much that they need all that space! Congratulations, CFATL!

Will I be doing CFT today?
What do these certs cost? (For interested parties, not me, of course.)
You can click on the links for more information, but in general, they range from $195 for a one-day cert to $595 for a two-day cert. Well worth every penny.
…I would probably recommend doing the interval workout prior to the CFT. Because it has been several days since you have worked out, the intervals today may result in better CFT numbers tomorrow.
You are just saying that because you know I would pay money to not have to make up the interval workout. You can’t fool me!
Okay. Horrible, terrible, wretched, running it is. Blah.
Sniff, sniff. Wait! I think I am coming down with a little something. Sniff. Maybe I won’t make it in after all today. Sniff…
!!!
Made up Elizabeth today. I think I’ve finally got a handle on cleans, after working on them for over a year! Ring dips were MUCH better; I think all the muscle-ups in the past few months have made a big difference.
