Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball
50 Burpees
50 Double unders

  1. So, QF, in seeing the workout, I would guess that you now want to retract that statement from yesterday that said you’d rather be in Saturday morning…? I know how much you love burpees… :mrgreen:

  2. DANG! You beat me to it! I saw the workout, thought “huh, I actually would rather have to be a work on a Saturday than do the FF” and then decided to blog it. But you already did. Fun Stealer.

  4. Made up Cindy with scap push ups and red + tiny. 11 rounds and change. My new slow is a little better than my old slow. Better is good.

    35: 15. A little more than 3min better than last time (two weeks ago?) but a lot better than my first, which was pretty darn close to an HOUR.

    Black box – jumps, 200 jump rope singles, and burpees mostly on my knees. I think the rest was RX

    The burpees really hurt my feelings, since Laura punished me recently with 150, which I did without my knees hitting the group once. Thought 50 would be easier, but I really think it took me close to 20 minutes, and I had to use my knees.

  6. OMG, GG! I SO did not punish you with 150 burpees – you CHOSE that workout yourself! I think you are starting to enjoy the pain of CrossFit ;)

  7. Ok, make that first time OVER an hour so I am twice as fast (or half as slow) as I was when I first started CF.

  8. Considering how beat up I felt coming into the workout today, I am pretty happy with my time. Still, there’s nothing worse than finishing a handful of seconds away from a PR, because you then spend the next few days kicking yourself for not moving just a LITTLE BIT FASTER! ;)

  10. Last time I did filthy 30 at your gym. That was the 2nd time I have done this wod. today was the third. I figured I would go for the full 50 reps.

    54:45 24″ box, 12kg kb (I think), 35# pp, 3 singles to 1 double under

    last time the same except 30 reps at 28 or 29 min.

  11. Congrats, GG! Nice! I skipped it last time and skipped it again today! (Not really, I couldn’t actually come in either time, but I didn’t miss it!)

    I thought your 150 burpies were because of the punishment board. I’m confused!

  12. Well, I think it did inspire the threat that burpees would be our punishment.

    The truth is – I quit/refused to do the muscle up/burpees workout because of my raw hands. Laura and I then had to figure out what I was going to do. She said, “150 burpees is a workout.” I couldn’t come up with anything else that was satisfactory so I agreed to attempt the 150.

    Laura – do you agree with that version of the truth?

  15. Well, let me clarify. I didn’t “have to figure out” what Alissa was going to do. It was her job to figure out what she was going to do if she chose to not do what was on the board, same as with everyone else. The 150 burpees was simply me throwing out an idea that didn’t involve pull-ups. So now you know, QF – if you choose to not do whatever is on the board, you can always choose to do 150 burpees for time instead! :lol:

  16. I’ll take one for the team here.
    DO NOT CHOOSE 150 BURPEES.
    It’s more tedious than the shovel workout.
    And it DOESN’T take 30 minutes.

    Is anyone else having trouble standing????????
