Clean & Jerk Ladder

With a continuously running clock do one 135 pound Clean and Jerk the first minute, two 135 pound Clean and Jerks the second minute, three 135 pound Clean and Jerks the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

  1. Prescribed weight for women would be about 70%, or 95 pounds. As always, scale as needed – it should be heavy, but not impossible. Look back and see what you used for “Grace”…the weight for this workout should be the same as what you used for those 30 clean & jerks for time.

  2. I am still stiff and old…pull up ladder: 8 rounds + 3 with blue band…am trying to remember things get worse before they get better….

  4. Okay, so maybe I am just weaker in the low back on the left side (right where I hurt myself when I do box jumps) and that is why I thought I was doing GHD sit-ups incorrectly yesterday. I don’t think I am even on my two legs, still, but I think yesterday I was just feeling fatigue and mislabeling it as hurt. Today it is all normal GHD sit-up soreness. FYI. Now you can stop staying up at night worrying about me.

  5. done @ home. i had recorded 35# bar for grace (maybe i misrecorded). felt light so used 45.

    8 rounds, 36 total reps.
