Have you ever felt like your progress became stagnant – or, even worse, went backwards? Maybe it’s all part of getting better…check out Fitness Fixation‘s article on this very topic:

“It Gets Worse Juuuust Before It Gets Better”

BTW, I have to say that the chick who writes the blog Fitness Fixation is pretty freakin’ funny. I love the slogan:

“Unleash your inner badass.”

And, even better, the mission statement:

“So much of the fitness and health writing out there is so dry you practically have to hydrate after you read it. I think it’s time we injected some humor into the genre.”

  1. First, welcome to the new clients! Glad to have you.

Second, thanks for the article this morning–which I need to read because I tanked pull ups today and am a litle discouraged.

Third, am stiff and sore from being squashed in small planes and too much sitting over the weekend (we won’t talk about the bread and beer); really worried about squats today. Damon’s patience MUCH appreciated.

  2. Back squats are always a challenge for me.

  3. Hoping to hit 150 today. Without any f’s. It is a big dream, and one that might be smashed by CrossFit (just like all the others, sigh), but I am aiming for it anyway.
