Dang! I guess I will have to suffer through today without ripped hands. But I know I have made improvement and will have to make a point next week to do this one and prove it!
Just to clarify: hands don’t rip from pull-up singles, weighted or not. Hands rip from the friction of high volume kipping pull-ups. So, no worries about ripped hands on this one!
Maybe that explanation is accurate for normal people, but I swear I can threaten my hands with pull ups or even merely suggest I might be doing some and they rip a little on the inside.

55 (match old PR)
My old PR was 55 pounds (155 BW + 55 = 210). Today, I’m 5 pounds lighter, so it doesn’t really count (150 + 55 = 205).
Tried to make up for it by doing strict 30lb chest to bar pull-ups afterwards.
30lb CTB pull-ups x 1 x 8
