Made a conscious effort to get at least collar to bar for each pull-up, and still finished my pull-ups in 8:45, which is over a minute faster than last time. Sit-ups were anchored AbMat.
Ew burpees.
I guess I will try to get higher on my pull ups…but I don’t think I will be aiming for chest to bar. Did your collar bone actually touch the bar? Did it get painful after a while?

It’s not a *BANG!* on the bar; it’s more of a brush up against it as you’re traveling. Not painful like bringing down a heavy jerk or clean!
cuz my collar bones still haven’t recovered from those blasted million CLEANS the other day LOL.
I guess Coach wants us to have strong…collarbones?
Yea…I am scared that I will try to brush against the bar and end up banging into it.
At least we’re females – we have natural padding! LOL!
Seriously, though. We don’t kip with enough force to *BANG!* into the bar like you’re imagining. It’s actually more difficult than I thought it would be to “hit” the bar with your chest. We all can get plenty high, but the pull-forward necessary to come towards the bar at the correct time is a bit odd. At least you get to mess around with the pull-ups while Vas is in New York; no stress!

I was pretty disappointed with my Angie. 23:something (a negative-pr of about 4 minutes in the wrong direction hehe) but it was really really fun! HAHAHA We had 8 of us rockin’ the biatch — 7 guys and me (with a few spectators) — THAT is the way to do Angie.
